Life Transitions | Burnout & Balance | Sustainable Well-Being
I believe some of the most difficult seasons of our lives can also become the beginning of something new—even when we can’t see what that looks like yet.
My name is Brandy Wilson, and I’m a Certified Rooted Coach based in Connecticut. I work with women who have spent so much time taking care of everyone and everything around them that somewhere along the way, they’ve lost connection with themselves.
My path to coaching began with my own struggle with food, body image, self-esteem, and self-worth. For years, so much of my energy went toward my body, food, and trying to “fix” myself. Eventually, I realized what I was looking for wasn’t another way to eat, another set of rules, or another version of who I thought I should be. I needed to find my way back to myself.
When I discovered Birch & Stone, I had an intuitive yes. I didn’t know exactly where it would lead, but I trusted that it was my next step. Through this work, I began to understand the powerful connection between our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, bodies, and overall well-being—and how meaningful change can happen when we begin looking at ourselves as a whole person rather than another problem to solve.
I also know firsthand that life does not always follow the path we imagined.
I am a cancer survivor, a divorcee, a widow, and a mother who has navigated the challenges of parenting a child with mental health struggles. I know what it feels like when life changes unexpectedly, when you’re trying to hold everything together, and when simply figuring out what comes next can feel overwhelming.
Those experiences shaped the way I coach.
I’m not here to hand you a rigid plan, tell you what you should be doing, or ask you to overhaul your entire life. I offer a compassionate, judgment-free place to slow things down, sort through the noise, and understand what you actually need.
Together, we may work on reducing overwhelm, managing burnout, reconnecting with your values, strengthening boundaries, navigating a major life transition, or creating habits that support the life you want to live.
Sometimes that means making a change. Sometimes it means learning how to move through a season you cannot change. And sometimes it simply means having someone beside you who can help you see yourself and your situation a little more clearly.
My approach is gentle, practical, and grounded in the belief that sustainable change doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from awareness, self-compassion, small intentional choices, and learning to trust yourself again.
I especially enjoy supporting women 35+ who are navigating:
- Divorce, widowhood, grief, or a significant life transition
- Single motherhood and the demands of caring for others
- Career stress, burnout, and chronic overwhelm
- Changes in identity, purpose, or direction
- Difficult relationships with food, body image, or self-worth
- The desire to create healthier, more sustainable habits without rigid rules or all-or-nothing thinking
