I’m Rebecca, a movement specialist and coach who is continually learning how to find steadier footing in a busy, emotional world.

I don’t come to this work from a place of having it all figured out. My approach is shaped by lived experience and by knowing what it feels like to be emotionally untethered at times. Through that, I've discovered how movement help can help regulate the nervous system, restore presence, and offer a way back to oneself. Exercise is a practice I return to and continue to practice alongside the people I work with.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Vermont and have spent nearly 15 years working in oncology rehabilitation and community wellness. I am a Cancer Exercise Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, brining both clinical understanding and humility into every space I lead.

My primary work centers on movement and the body's capacity to move. At birch & stone I lead the 'In Motion' exercise classes focused on learning, experimenting, and building trust with your body over time. Classes are accessible and adaptable, with options to move seated or standing, at your own pace, with or without weights. You are invited to come as you are and move in a way that feels right for you.

Alongside movement, I offer one-on-one decluttering support for those who want their spaces to function more easily. I enjoy helping people create systems that reflect who they are now, finding homes for their belongings so their environment supports them rather than work against them. This work is about aligning with you and the way you move about your life in your space. 

At the heart of everything I do is a deep respect for meeting people where they are. I believe in moving, learning, and growing together. My intention is to help people feel steadier, more at home in their bodies, and space, and more confident in themselves, while I continue finding my own footing too.

Foundations In Motion

 This 30 minute weekly class blends education and guided movement to help participants understand why we move the way we do and how to build a strong, safe foundation. You’ll learn movement principles while practicing exercises that support strength, mobility, balance, and confidence. The focus is on learning, awareness, and building skills you can carry into everyday movement.

Strength In Motion

Build strength and confidence as you move with purpose. Each 45-minutes class focuses on improving strength, balance, mobility, and confidence through simple, functional movements. Whether you’re new to strength training or ready to push a little further, you’ll leave feeling strong, steady, and empowered.  

 

Energy In Motion

Expect a fun, energizing session that leaves you feeling recharged and ready for the day. This 45-minute, all-levels movement class focuses on building stamina and endurance through functional exercises and gentle flow. The class emphasizes mindful movement, confidence, and finishing class feeling energized and supported.

Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, with options provided to support a wide range of abilities and experience levels.

Our work together is conversational and responsive, shaped by what you're noticing, needing, and ready to address in the moment.

This process is about YOU and how you want to live, feel and move in your space.
