Technical Resources & Troubleshooting
This page is here to help you quickly resolve common technical issues within the community, especially related to Zoom class access and community chat access. Many of these issues are device-related and can usually be fixed with a few simple steps.
π Where to Always Find Class Links
- All live class links are available on the Dashboard under the Calendar tab.
- The Google Calendar connected to your dashboard always contains the most up-to-date class links.
- Starting January 8th, every live class on the dashboard will include:
- A direct Zoom meeting link
- The Zoom Meeting ID (and passcode if required)
If a reminder email or calendar link does not work, the Dashboard Calendar should always be your first stop.
π₯ Zoom Access Issues (Most Common Problems)
Many Zoom-related issues are caused by browser settings, cached data, or how the link is being opened.
Common Issues You May See
- Zoom link opens but does nothing
- Zoom opens the wrong account
- Zoom tries to open in-browser and fails
- Google Calendar link does not launch the meeting
- Reminder email link does not work
Recommended Steps (Try in Order)
1. Copy & Paste the Link
- Copy the Zoom link
- Paste it directly into your browserβs address bar
2. Join Using the Zoom App (Recommended)
- Open the Zoom app directly on your device
- Click Join Meeting
- Enter the Meeting ID
3. Clear Cache & Cookies (Browser Fix)
- Open browser Settings
- Go to Privacy & Security
- Select Clear browsing data
- Choose Cached images and files
- Clear data and restart the browser
4. Try a Different Browser or Device
- Switch browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari)
- Try another device (phone, tablet, or computer)
π© Important Email Update
- Starting January 5th, all reminder emails will include:
- The Zoom Meeting ID
- Clear instructions for joining
π¬ Community Chat Issues (Android Users)
Some Android users may have trouble accessing the Community page directly within the app.
- Go to the Homepage of the app
- Click the Community Chat button
If needed, make sure the app is updated and fully restarted.
